The Crazy Stage

This is a behavior I have noticed, while being in this community. I would like to know if anyone else has experienced, or noticed  this, or if it was just me.

The crazy stage (for lack of a better name) is a term that I personally use to refer to a point of time, where usually a new practitioner is first introduced to their practice, and for some reason they fall into misinformation, and happened to think they know everything. This is not every practitioner’s experience, but it is one that I continue to see time, and time again. A person in a crazy stage is someone that probably does want to get into magick, but they usually hold the romanticize preconceptions of what magick is, even while continuing their studies. During the beginning stages of a practitioners development, the practitioner is very impressionable, and cannot usually tell the difference between UPG, and VPG, because they have nothing to base their information off of yet besides their preconceptions of what magick is, which a lot of the time is given to them by Hollywood. Not everybody has a crazy stage, This is for many different reasons, but the reasons that I have found are, because they start either with a mentor, were raised with different preconceptions, found the right information they needed to at the right time, or are very analytical, critical, observant, and insightful literally allowing them to bypass the crazy stage all together. Crazy stages are not bad inherently for the practitioner they teach growth, understanding, perseverance, and determination to the person who is having them as long as they do not last in the crazy stage for an extended period of time. They will be stronger for going through it, and will have understandings, and experiences that one would probably not have anywhere else, that could help them on their journey moving forward. Inside a crazy stage one may choose to follow, and try to practice spiritual falsehoods, and misinformation most likely unintentionally. The crazy stage is actually name that way, because of some of the stuff that people end up believing up until the end of when they leave it. This crazy stage may last different amounts of time depending upon the person and is usually resolved via the person giving up on magick, or them advancing their knowledge, evolving and rising above the misinformation that they had before. I’d like to know if anyone else has experienced anything like this, or has heard of something similar. Thank you for reading, I appreciate it.
